1) Metropolitan Manila

2) Provinces of Bataan, Batangas, Bulacan, Camarines Norte, Cavite, Laguna, Marinduque, Oriental Mindoro, Quezon, and Rizal, and large areas of Nueva Ecija, Occidental Mindoro, and Zambales

3) Cities of Antipolo, Balanga, Batangas, Calamba, Cavite, Gapan, Lipa, Lucena, Malolos, Mariveles, Olongapo, San Jose Del Monte, San Pablo, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, Tagaytay, Tanauan, and Trece Martires .

All these areas roughly cover the regions of NCR (National Capital Region), Central Luzon Region 3, and CALABARZON Region 4.

They cover about 20% of the country’s area.

Tagalog spoken mostly in regions 3 and 4. While cebuano mostly in regions 7, 10, 11, and 13. However some provinces of the visayas and mindanao areas can speak both like northern part of negros occidental the people there speaks cebuano but the widely spoken dialect is hiligaynon.
