When i'm with certain groups of people. when i lived in Florida there were a lot of hispanics and when i would talk to them i would talk fast and kinda like them. now that i live in New Jersey again, the accents are different. so i start to talk like i have a jersey accent (kinda like a new york one) but when i'm visiting family in south jersey it's a whole different type of accent (kinda like a philly accent) so i start to pick up words and accents from them when i'm hanging with them. it's wierd but it's like your way of talking adapts to your surroundings. I do the same thing, not with presentations though. I mean sometimes I would speak unclear English because I get nervous. It's because we get so nervous that our volume lowers and we shake more. So it is harder for others to hear us. Happens to many people.
