i think philippine language is more of a mix between indonesian and spanish and other local Asian language. The accent is sharp and would really stand out, but the english pronunciation is better than americans…i guess they study it in school thoroughly
the language is simple and pleasing to the ear… the accent isn’t an issue either… only Pinoys make the accent an issue.
Keep it real!
Cute. Peace.
Filipino language, just like its culture and history is very diverse. since there are a lot of foreigners who took over the Philippines, they have also adopted diff languages. it is mainly a mix of different languages and dialects: Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, English. the filipino language is rich in history. as for the accent, i don’t think it’s an issue. just like the other answerer said, only Pinoys make the accent a big deal. but i can say that Pinoys can be easily taught. teach them to speak with a british, german, french accent, and they can easily learn it in a short span of time.
