what percent of the Filipino language came from what foreign language?
We Filipinos are taught that the language tat we use today borrows words from other languages such as Malay, Spanish and some Chinese. So now the question is which of those languages contributed the most to Filipino the way we know it today?
Btw I curious about this fact because I think it will help me to decide what foreign language to study since it may be easier due to the similarities.
thank you all for your help.

Spanish contributed a lot in our filipino language. Like numero uno is a spanish word which we still use in Philippines. Numbers uno, dos, tres, kwatro, singko, sais (seis in spanish, pronounce as ses), siete, otso, nuwebe, diyes….
Try to translate "perfect" to tagalog. Perfecto in spanish, perpekto in tagalog. Menudo, Afritada, Caldereta are also spanish words.
Spanish is a good language you can learn. As you can see, hispanic people don’t usually know how to speak English. Example of these are the boxers fought by Pacquiao, they need interpreters before they can answer the question of Press and also Hispanic descent in Beauty Pageant like Miss Venezuela, Colombia in Miss Universe or Miss International.
