Commonly, spanish pronounciation is ciyo.
Americans pronounce it as cilo.
Filipino do pronounce it as cillio.
A very good example is the fastfood chain Pollo Loco.
Spanish pronounciation is Poyo Loco
American pronounce it s Polo Loco
Filipino pronounce it as Polio Loco

in filipino double L is usually pronounced as (ly) like Astilla (as-ti-lya)…
but some though if stuck with american heritage or someother country stick with just the l sound.

pronounce it how his/her mom’s pronounce it. to show respect : ) cuz if you pronounce it the spanish way, mom might get offended pronouncing the name differently from what the family was used to
