Like, I can speak, understand, and know all of the grammar rules of Tagalog, there's just only one problem. My accent sucks. How can I improve it?
I am a pure-blooded Filipino born, and raised in the United States.

I'm 13 years old and trying to learn Tagalog. I'm Filipino but I've lived in the United States my whole life and I am just now learning to speak Tagalog. Can someone list websites or Tagalog magazines. What would be a recommended book that could help me? I already have a phrase book and dictionary so I don't need that. My mom speaks Tagalog fluently and she's from the Philippines and she's going to help me too.

Sorry for the ignorant question because I know people are going to say "It's Filipino!" No shit... Not trying to be rude.. Just sayin'... Is there a difference between Filipino language and Tagalog language and is it true, from The Philippines being colonized by the United States, that they're second National/Official language is English, correct?

I am Filipina, but I was raised here in the United States. I speak a little Tagalog but I am not fluent.

I'm located in the United States and I'm looking for beginner computer books written in Tagalog. Does anyone know where I can purchase some.

Hello, I am from the United States and I was sending IM's to someone from the Philippines. They didn't speak English very well so they sent me some messages in their language. I'm looking for someone who can translate those messages for me.

Can you help me out?

I understand some tagolog but not much. Here are the ones that I don't fully understand.

1) "nag chat ako saaking kaibigan ok"

2) "i kaw c goro mafami kang ka chat ngnyon"

3) "ta ma ba ao"

4) "kasi nakikita kita sa cam mo"

5) "ok lang naman saakin"

6) "wag mong sabihin hindi mo alang ang meneng yon"

I don't think the spelling is good either but maybe you can still tell what is being said. Thanks a lot for you time....
