Hello, I am from the United States and I was sending IM's to someone from the Philippines. They didn't speak English very well so they sent me some messages in their language. I'm looking for someone who can translate those messages for me.
Can you help me out?
I understand some tagolog but not much. Here are the ones that I don't fully understand.
1) "nag chat ako saaking kaibigan ok"
2) "i kaw c goro mafami kang ka chat ngnyon"
3) "ta ma ba ao"
4) "kasi nakikita kita sa cam mo"
5) "ok lang naman saakin"
6) "wag mong sabihin hindi mo alang ang meneng yon"
I don't think the spelling is good either but maybe you can still tell what is being said. Thanks a lot for you time....

Won't the Filipino language be more appreciated when spoken proudly and not with so much English words.

@Mystic - Kapag po Pilipino ang gagamitin ko dito sa tuwing magtatanong, tinatanggal po ng Y!A. Ayan o, marami raw po akong "misspellings" kahit nasa Yahoo Philippines naman po ako.

How do you say "Oh, no, it's just a blessing from God" in Tagalog?
Like, in Metro Manila style.
Jeff, a Southerner, met Rod, a Filipino in a high-rise in downtown New York. Jeff told Rod that he always wanted to visit the Philippines since he was a teenagaer and also wanted to learn a foreign language. On their way to the elevator, Jeff said to Rod "Hey, Rod. I happen to know another Filipino, Bob, the elevator guy. Could you guys speak in Filipino? I haven't heard a Filipino conversation before". "Sure." Rod replied. Then the elevator opened and inside a man in uniform and nametag (Bob) was operating the elevator. Then Rod asked Bob "Bababa ba, Bob?". Bob, with a smile, replied "Bababa."
Thinking that the language only composed of a few syllables, Jeff was surprised and whispered "I'll be damned!".
Could someone help me say something like "I love your daughter. I ask for your blessing for her hand in marriage." I am open to other suggestions for translation purposes. Also, pronunciation help would be great! (I am not Filipino and can't speak Tagalog at all)
I would prefer those who speak tagalog fluently to answer this rather than the online translations. What would this translate to in english ? "Alam king hindi mo alam, narito lang ako."
Thank you !
translate in englishh.
haha, i just wanna know what it means.
"lolo mo panot hahaha"
please and thank you (=
what is the tagalog translation of "school year"?
This guy I like took a quiz on facebook and his result said that the name of the person he likes starts with a C (like my name).
Then one of his friends commented on it in a filipino language, I'm not sure if it was tagalog or not.
But they said "aba cno yan"
does anyone know what that means?
"Ang pogi mula sa paa hanggang sa ulo lkaw lang ang para sa akin! Wag mo akong ewan hindi ko kayang mag-isa"
How would you say these lines in the beautiful Pilipino language? Not literally but more in the context of prose and poetry.
Someday you will cry like I cried for you
Someday you will miss me like I missed you
Someday you will need me like I needed you
Someday you'll love me and I won't love you.
Maraming salamat po. (Thank you very much.)
real peste, here's a bone for you
nena s, that's foul (but really funny)
spotter 888 "What place (rank) is GMA in the presidential succession?"
Good job, everyone! Keep them coming.
"Filipino is the official language"
WTH? Is it Tagalog, Kapampangan, Visayas, etc?
I'm sure it's Tagalog because it is widely spoken and is the language most understood in all the regions of the Philippines.
However, I don't understand why they call it "Filipino"
when Filipino is nationality x_X
"Talaga bang si (name) na ha" I dont speak tagalog and online translaters wont translate a single word in this at all.
Are you concerned about locals talking "over your head" "around you" and "underneath you" without knowing the topic of discussion?
Do you observe body language, facial gestures and small key words as indicators to aid your understanding of what is going on around you?
Would you learn the native language and speak it fluently but keep it secret for protection?or would you love to display your ability to speak the native language openly and proudly?
What do you think?
"Ang pogi mula sa paa hanggang sa ulo lkaw lang ang para sa akin! Wag mo akong ewan hindi ko kayang mag-isa"
what does it mean it pilipino
I have a fillipino girl that I want to send a message to in her language, so I want to know the proper way to tell her "I want to hold you and kiss you gently"
how do you say these phrases in Tagalog?:
-"Don't do that, then!"
-"So?"
-"When I grow up...."
-"Until now,...."
-"What does it look like I'm doing?!"
Thanks.
ok well i want to learn tagalog but i'm not really into the whole "lets spend 0+ on Rosetta Stone" thing so do you have any websites/books or stuff like that to help me learn it? or just any tips i guess? lol i think i understand the ang/ng focus stuff but....
