I am half Filipino and half Puerto Rican and was raised in the US. Both my parents speak Spanish fluently and I understand it. I however, don't speak Spanish I don't have much of an accent when I speak. Whenever someone that speaks Spanish finds out that I don't speak Spanish fluently they look disgusted. Like now I'm not Puerto Rican enough. Anyone have the same experience?

I am a half filipino half puerto rican american and i ve been trying to find a good app to learn tagalog. something that says a word/sentence and i can repeat it. i cant fine any free ones so could anyone help me into finding a really good one thats worth the money?? i read some reviews on some just thought i'd ask on here.

First of all I aint trying to be racist. But I think it's unfair to Donaire that he is considered in the top 5 best p4p by Ring Magazine but not even his own people talk about him. Everything is about Manny this and that. Why can't Filipino peeps give him his due. All this obsession on Pacquaio is just unfair to other Filipino boxers dont yah think?

Look at Puerto Rican and Mexican fans, they love Cotto, Barrera and Marquez as much as they love Juan Manuel Lopez, Calderon, Montiel, Angulo, and others. Also even African American fans are fans of not just Mayweather but also other fighters like Paul Williams or Andre Ward. Why are Pinoy fans ONLY supporting Manny and doesn't give enough attention to guys like Donaire, Mayol, or others who are also world champions from the Philippines?

I am in the US Navy and witness something that offended me.I am Mex-American.This two Puerto Rican guys were talking in spanish in the ship and this Senior chief flipped out and chewed them out and was screaming saying don't speak that s*** here.He is a filipino and talks Tagalog most of the time with the other chiefs in front of other people who don't talk that language.I did some research but cant find anything.I don't have anything against filipinos but it really gets me mad because it seems they get exempt from these rules.
