Me and my friend are signing a song in tagalog and in an african language but what song shall we sing ?

The song will be translated into her african language (which i can't remember the name)
but what filipino song shall i pick?

How come when I sing in a different language (tagalog), I can do higher notes than english songs?

If I sing a filipino song, I can sing the high and loud notes without losing my voice but when I sing english songs, I lose my voice when I go higher or louder?
