I want to be able to practise my tagalog BEFORE I GO TO THE PHILIPPINES, my husband (who is pinoy) is too busy with work to help a lot. My question is : Are there any places online where I can meet other philippinos so that I may practise speaking tagalog.
I am going to the philippines in 2014 but want to be able to speak slightly fluently to family members before I go there.
One of my best friend's parents just had a stroke...she's feeling really bad about it, and I've consoled her a bit. I wanted to tell her mom some stuff too, but she only speaks tagalog. If anyone could translate this, I'd appreciate it.
/// I know how hard it is when one of your family members gets hurt. I really hope he gets better soon, and that it doesn't happen again.\\
And absolutely NO Google translate. That is BS right there, and it's not reliable.
As i said, im filipino.. but i cant speak the tagalog language and i would reeeaaally like to learn how. I am hearing all of my family members speak tagalog and i can sort of understand, i know words, but i dont know how to use it in a sentence, and i cant really have a tagalog conversation with someone. What is the best way for me to learn Tagalog online, that is FREE? And i cant get Rosetta Stone.
Please help me out!
Def. Choosing best answer..
Thanks! =D
Either language is fine. Just teach me how to say the basic everyday things. It would be good if you taught me how to speak a couple of sentences just so I can communicate better with my grandparents and my family members in the Philippines.
Well, I know I can just search over on the internet but what I really want is a personal tutor that can teach me how to speak Filipino.
