I work with this dude from the Philipines, and he is leaving in a few days. I want to say this to him in his own language:

"Merry Christmas"

"Good luck, Carlo"

"I hate plastic" (It's an inside joke lol).

So, how are these written in Tagalog, and how are they pronounced. Thanks in advance.

How do you say:

"How was your Christmas jess? Did you do anything fun?"

translate this into tagalog

"I'm sorry your holiday didn't work out. Next year mabye your whole family will be there. I went home for Christmas and hung out with my parents and and my bf. But don't worry, it will work out next year for you jess. I promise."

translate this into tagalog:

"I'm sorry your holiday didn't work out. Next year mabye your whole family will be there. I went home for Christmas and hung out with my parents and and my bf. But don't worry, it will work out next year for you jess. I promise."

I really want to learn some basic words in Tagalog...I believe that is the main language spoke in Philippines..if not please correct me. Would anyone be willing to email/chat with me to give me some basic words in that language as well as what they are in english so I could learn them? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
example: how do you say:
how are you? hello? goodbye? have a nice day? just simple everyday things like that.
the reason I am interested in learning some is that my brother in law and father in law both married ladies from the Philippines (Cebu) and I would like to surprise them by learning some basics to greet them in their language. I thought it would be a nice gesture for them from me :)
thank you Michaella! my email is perfectsweetbeauty@yahoo.com if you want it....I wanted to do something for them, mainly my new mother in law because she will be here a year in March so this was her first Christmas away from her family and she was a little sad so I thought if I could say hello to her and things like that in her language it would make her feel better...oh and my sis in law will be here 2 years in April

Base of what I did this christmas when I was at a store looking for presents there is a woman who is talking in her language which is tagalog but when I saw her she doesn't look like a filipino how's that she more look like a chinese I am getting confused.YOU GOTTA HELP ME GUYS?

I have a friend in the Philippines who will be watching over my computer accounts while I travel. I'd like to send him a postcard. He speaks perfect English, but teases me because all I can say in Tagalog is Maligayang Pasko, Merry Christmas!

Could someone translate into Tagalog this script for me?

"We can't thank you enough for all your help. You are a good friend to us."

That'll show him!
