"oo naman, matindi ang tagalog ko…dapat lang"
As the great Jose Rizal said —
"Ang hindi magmahal sa sariling wika, daig pa ang hayop at malansang isda." He who does not love his own language is worse than a beast and a smelly fish.
" Yes, of course I speak Tagalog" means
" Oo, marunong akong mag Tagalog"
Oo, syempre, nakakaimik ako ng tagalog…
oo naman!! marunong akong mag tagalog
i speak tagalog fluently but dislike using that language for the re4ason that i don’t believe that should be the national language in the philippines. there are more visayan speaking in that country than the tagalog and also, the government is so into developing luzon areas and never the provinces in mindanao and visayas so i refuse to patronize that damn language!plus, discrimination done and still going on by the tagalogs towards the visayans are outrageous so no way, no way i want to speak that language and nver wanted to be associated with the tagalog. here in the us, i speak english to the tagalog people ..
"syempre pa, marunong akong mag-Tagalog"
"yes, of course i speak tagalog"
"Oo, siyempre nagsasalita ako ng Tagalog"
or
"Oo naman, nag-Tatagalog ako"
or
"Siyempre, nag-Tatagalog ako"
Oo, marunong akong mag Tagalog
"Oo naman, nagta-Tagalog ako."
"Oo naman, nagsasalita ako ng Tagalog."
to be polite you say: "opo, marunong po ako ng tagalog."
or you can say "Nakakapagsalita po ako ng tagalog."
"Abay . . oo, ala eh, nakakapagtagalog akow"
"Oo, Hindi na kailangang magpaligoy-ligoy pa at palawigin ang usapan, sapagkat totoong sinasabi ko sa iyo, na ang inyong lingkod ay taal na dilang Tagalog."
Oo, naman, nakasasalita ako ng tagalog ("Filipino nga ako, eh" can be added if you are filipino)
