People who speak any type of Filipino language please help..10 pts ?
hi lang...
uhh...
I have this really retarded project...
and I have to name a city.
The name has to be significant... And I'm no good at spelling Filipino.
I'm Chinese, Filipino, and Mexican... and uhh... Please help me come up with a name of a city, best name gets 10 pts promised.
The city has to be a utopia... so open to anything...
For Visayan people:
how do you spell "my hair is on Fire"
I know how to say it, it is spelled "nasunog akong buhok?"
and open... tell me the name of the city (english or Filipino) and tell me what it means if its not in english...
I speak Chinese, Spanish, obviously English, but I am just about oblivious in Filipino... can you blame me I know 3 languages which have nothing to do with each other...minus a few similar words in Spanish...
and I'm not totally stupid, so don't try and tell me something in filipino and go 'it means "peace" when it means go **** yourself... I'm not that oblivious"
best answer gets 10 pts
It has to be a Utopia... so positive... lol
It isn't i guess really urgent... If you say its worth 10 pts though you tend to get more people to voice their opinion and for what 2 or 5 superficial points...i don't care...lol

Kapayapaan -peace
Siyudad ng Kapayapaan -city of peace
Katarungan -justice
What do you want your city to project anyway?
Maybe you could look at the names of the streets in UP Village. They have interesting names. At least I think so. And they do mean something.
in cebuano(sugbu-anon)-
"siyudad sa mga guapo ug guapa"
city of the handsome and beautiful
"my hair is on Fire" should be "nasunog ang akong buhok"…you miss the "ang"
the city i suggest – Baguio City "the summer capital of the Philippines"
and also Davao City "city of smiles"
Why you keep on dangling that 10 pts? You think it’s so important? It is not, mate!
Laoag City ———-it means sunshine city or city of light.
—and it is the capital of Ilocos Norte in the north.
Iloilo – City of Love
It is because the people of Iloilo are loving.
The girls are very sweet even if they’re already angry.
