Is Tagalog a difficult language to learn?
I already speak English and Spanish (Mexican dialect) fluently, and I want to learn another language. I have a lot of Filipino friends, and have been told that filipinos are basically asian mexicans. So, is it a difficult language to learn?
Are there places where I could learn it?
ok, so, in no way did that answer my question. i know they are not mexican. its just a joke, since my mom is mexican, and the girl i was talking to is filipino.

"Asian Mexicans"?? That’s a joke. Hispanic is more correct.Men came from Spain long ago, not Mexico !
You may find it confusing at first, but sooner or later, you’ll get used to it. Tagalog is a hard language but you just need to have patience if you want to learn it. Once you learn it, it will be easy for you to communicate with Filipinos all over the Philippines, since it’s a national language. There are many languages in the Philippines (cebuano, boholano, ilocano, waray, ilonggo and all the others)and they’re equally as hard to learn as tagalog. If you want to communicate effectively, master tagalog.
It shoudn’t be that hard for you. Lots of Filipinos will be really willing to help you, including me.
take your time.
