Is it okay to speak in my native language in a College Interview? University of the Philippines.?
I'm going to have a college interview this April 3, 2008.
Is it okay if I speak Filipino in the interview, after all it is the University of the Philippines.
Yeah, I know it is better if I speak in english, but I'm not that fluent in speaking it. I run out of words fast and get my tongue twisted fast. What do I do? Thanks

If the questions that would be asked are in English I think it would appropriate if you would answer in English. But since you are having difficulty with the language, I suggest you just ask the permission of the interviewer that you would be speaking in Filipino since you are more comfortable with the Filipino language. Don’t just answer right away in Filipino.
if you are in philippines i guess its ok
but if you are somewhere else you ‘d better speak in english
I do not think that that should be a problem because the inter-viewer probably knows English Filipino and even Tagalog,
Speak in your native tongue…
