If you were to blog about a Filipino trait, what would you write about?
What is that one trait that makes us uniquely Filipinos?
Or would you rather write about our trait that has been grossly misunderstood by foreigners (examples: our manana habit, our tendency to be late, etc.)

I’d write about our sense of "Kapamilya" and "Kapuso". To me, those are more than just strikingly accurate TV station slogans. It doesn’t matter where in the world you meet a Filipino, just being Filipino automatically makes you family to that other person.
I’m not filipino, and i dont know what manana is, and have never heard that filipinos tend to be late (i live in hawaii, which has a high filipino population and my brother married into a filipino family.
filipino food is very good.
filipino stick fighting (kali or escrima), is interesting.
Why write about a trait? You be better off just writing stuff from a unique pinoy persective and reference current events to how they relate to the general filipino.
I would read that and Itim-Americano ako lol but a blog about a trait… or is this one blog entree related to common traits of Filipinos because i guess that make sense but becareful not to sterotype your people or promote common stuff just about every culture does and say its filipino.
Positive trait or negative?
I think I would write about Pinoys being colonial mentality that they should remove that trait because it is the one destroying them.
Since the Philippines is more of a melting pot than the United States is there anything that makes Filipinos Unique?
I would write about how filipinos evolved having strong backs….
I have traveled the world and it is only in the Philippines where friends get together a lot. Students go out of their homes to meet friends and make "chika" within the neighborhood. Boys and men sit around a table and make "tagay". All of these happen regularly, unlike in other places where drinking happens only when parties are organized.
Family oriented
Shy
Hospitable
Assume too much without knowing all the facts. Some think they know you before they get to know you. Very crazy!! LOL
our being chismosos and chismosas. (gossiping)
i’ve been to many different places in the philippines and abroad, and i have observed this all the time.
Staring.
I noticed many Filipino men like to stare at pretty girls, as if they are going to undress them with their eyes. It’s actually incredible coz their heads would turn 180degrees just to trail a girl walking past by.
I think I will write about the Talangka Mentality.
I’d go for the negative traits. I want to write about something that would be useful for Filipinos in improving themselves.
Colonial Mentality and Crab Mentality.
I would write about Filipino hospitality which we are famous about. We welcome just about anyone into our homes even if we don’t know you. Serve them food and everything, make them comfortable.
Another one would be our being family oriented. Could be good or bad though. Bad for example is because even if one is already in their 30’s he or she is still living at home. hihihi
