I speak Tagalog, but will not dare translate it. Won’t make sense. Next translation request, please.
maliit, matamis na isla?
that’s the literal tagalog translation
Small – maliit
Sweet – matamis
Islands – mga Isla (with "s" it should be accompany by the word "mga", pronounce as ma-nga)
"Small Sweet Islands"
"Mga munting matatamis na isla"
literally in tagalog, small sweet islands is
"maliliit na matatamis na mga isla".
but a better translation might be
"mga islang masasarap at maliliit"
"masarap" is delicious
"maliit" is small
"mga isla" is islands
as bopols said, your phrase doesn’t make any sense. literally, the translation is below:
small – maliit
sweet – matamis
islands – mga isla / mga pulo
thus,
maliliit at matatamis na isla / maliliit at matatamis na pulo
it doesn’t make sense because you don’t describe an island as sweet. gustatory-wise, you do not "taste" or "eat" an island.
think of another adjective so your phrase will come out better:
ex: small, beautiful islands
maliliit at magagandang isla / pulo
Maliit at Matamis na Isla
mga munting matatamis na isla.
it wont make sense if you say it in tagalog but…
small= maliit
sweet= matamis
island/ islands= isla/islas
maliit at matamis ang mga islas= the islands are small and sweet ( sweet meaning like sugary sweet)
