I want to learn how to speak Tagalog again? Something easier than dictionaries?
Ok, so I was born in da Philippines. I moved to America when I was 4. That was when I completely forgot how to speak Tagalog. I really miss speaking this and I've tried using dictionaries but it's too hard for me. Do any of you know a better, easier way I can learn how to speak that again? Any websites or certain books? Thank you to all who answer my question. The best answer I will choose is the one that helped me the most. Thanks again! (=

Try Rosetta Stone, it taught me Russian.
How about asking family members .. surely they maintained it enough to help ..
Kumusta,
To be honest, most sources online that claim to translate or teach Tagalog are wrong. I haven’t found one that is 100% accurate.
The best advice that I have (this is what I did) is find a nice Filipino to teach you. Find a chat site or even ask here at Yahoo Answers for a Filipino that speaks Tagalog to teach you. With Yahoo Messenger or Skype, you can communicate with voice and it makes it much easier to learn, rather than just reading it.
Good luck
Why don’t you join myhappyplanet.com ? It’s free and it’s easy to join. I’m giving tagalog lessons there. Good luck
