The Philippine language is called Tagalog
"pilipino-ingles ongles-pilipino" i think its a filipino language dictionary but none of the words in it match anything filipino i have found. my inlaws are filipino and i was trying to impress them by learning their language.

Bagong Talatinigan? Definitely a Tagalog word means New(Bago) for something, Im not so sure what talatinig means. A dictionary in tagalog is diksyunaryo (as I’ve always known) , probably what you’ve got is a thesaurus. Dont worry about it, most filipino people in urban city/metro areas are english speaker and most filipino that cant speak fluent english can understand english words(that not so difficult ones).
If your trying to impress elders/parents do the "Mano Po", saying it while you take their hand and placed it to your forehead. And do learn the basic Greeting/ word "Kamusta po kayo?"(How are you?), "Salamat" (Thank you) and Mahal kita? (I love you) , Just say Opo, (Yes) used practically in everything.
