The qwerty keyboard lends itself to English. Also, our typing lessons make use of English and so that's what our fingers are used to. The words are certainly shorter than Tagalog. Translate this paragraph into Tagalog and it becomes longer. Plus, practice makes perfect. Ask the millions of OFWs, professionals, office workers (written business communication is in English), call center agents, college, high school and elementary students--- pretty much everyone. No harm in knowing a second language well, or being biligual. But I guess in the end it's all personal preference. All up to the writer. There's no obligation to use either language exclusively.
