How do you speak Tagalog?
I'm a Filipino but I have no idea how to speak tagalog. I'll learn the words, but sometimes the words go in reverse.
Like if I say "I'm a girl" it would be "Bobae ako" (sorry for my spelling if i spelled it wrong) And it just says "girl me" right? So I get confused because what if I wanted to speak tagalog and I say it wrong?
Some phrases aren't in reverse but uh....
idk...

I’m a girl would be "Babae ako."
Yes, it means "girl me" if you would translate it very directly. People translate words that way when they are kidding.
Yeah, some sentence are in reverse but you could also translate it in the same manner as in English like
Babae ako.(girl me)–> but it means I’m a girl.
could be
Ako ay babae. –> I’m a girl.
Ako = I
ay = am
babae = girl
It is accepted but it will make you sound not casual.
Hope I helped.
Happy New Year!!! (Masayang Bagong Taon!!!)
