This is sometimes used too. LIke the first answer also says, you can also say "miss kita"(i miss you) or "miss ko siya"(i miss him/her)(siya is pronounced as "sha"). LIke so many other languages Tagalog has also been affected by the English language and that is why they also use so many English words in the Tagalog language.
