I think they’re the same. It’s just that before the Filipino alphabet didn’t have "F" so they used "P". But I’m pretty sure they’re the same. I personally spelled it with a "F", but I am also living in America.
So to answer your question, I think that the language is the same, just that before they didn’t have a "F" so they used "P". Some people also notice the fact of how who pronounce things with those letters.
