Ever heard two Filipino talking in Tagalog/ Filipino in a foreign land?
I'm actually a Filipina, I'm pretty curious of how you see our language. For example do you find it gibberish? Can you please express your thoughts. Unnecessary one sided comment will be reported, please weigh your words. But I am pretty interested about your opinions.
Cheers

My best friend is Filipino and I think the language is difficult and a bit interesting. She has taught me a few words to use so people will not know what I am saying when I get mad. Filipino people are great!
It sounds cool to me, like a mixture of English Spanish and Chinese. It is weird when I can pick out some of the English words that are being used. I speak English.
I’m a Filipino expat, and our local (non-Filipino) co-workers jokingly imitate Tagalog conversations with a "grgrgrgr," pretty much like gargling sound. In the end, some are actually interested to know Pilipino!
That’s why whenever I talk with my "kabayans," I speak a slower Tagalog pace, in order to avoid that "grgrgrgr" tease.
By the way, if a person knows a Spanish or Malay, they’d usually get some ideas during our Tagalog chat.
