I can speak fluent tagalog, even though I have a thick american accent to my tagalog now and it sounds really funny, even to me. It may be hard to learn over Yahoo though, just like any language it is easier to learn orally through conversation rather than through reading.
Still if you are cool, maybe I might be able to help some.
But if you have access to any tagalog newspapers or books, that is always a good place to start.
Hindi ka ba nakaka usap sa manga kamaganak mo? Sila na nga ang nag tuto sa akin, siguro sila ang makaka pag tulong sa iyo.
Hopefully, you have someone who can translate that even though I know I might be the worst tagalog speller in history though, but the spelling is usually phoenetic so it actually is not that hard.

Why, I can speak fluent Filipino, but I havent really mastered my grammar. Check out different sites offering free tutorials. Chances are, you’ll learn from them.
