My favorite is this http://www.seasite.niu.edu/Tagalog/Tagalog_mainpage.htm (because I like the graphics, etc., not because I need to learn Filipino/Tagalog (Pinoy ako, eh)).
One of the best ways to learn Filipino language is to visit chat rooms that speak the language. Go to Google and use the keywords "filipino chat". Observe some of the conversations as you try to pick out some of the keywords and translate them with a handy translation book by your side.
Also, just as English words are often reduced to some abbreviation or shortcut, recognize some of the Filipino words that may have also been reduced to some abbreviation or shortcut. Such as "cge", common for "Sige" or translated as "okay".
Once you get the hang of it, try interacting with some of the Filipino chatters. Also, chat with folks who don’t mind helping you learn. As you improve, move onto actually speaking full sentences with Filipino friends in your community a step at a time.
Good luck!
