Hey! I'm trying to learn tagalog, and I already learned: Nouns, verbs, past present and future tense, prepositions, adverbs, and adjectives. Is there anything else I should learn?
Btw I'm full filipino, and I'm about to move to the philippines, so i really need to learn fast.
Can someone tell me what the word fafang means?
is he your new fafang?
I assume its a filipino language...possibly visayan...not sure though.
Thank you.
I spelled it the way it was written, if they didn't spell it right or spelled it in a slang form, then I don't know...
I have an English language gaming website that has become popular in the Philippines. Google says a lot of people that speak Tagalog are searching my site. Is it worth it for me to pay someone to do translation of my content or do most people in the Philippines speak enough English that it doesn't matter?
The website is http://www.casualgameguides.com
I need to write this sentence in tagalog in my story. so please help

Hi, I'm Rebecca. I just started college (in the Philippines) and i am already struggling. Filipino is not a major subject for the course i am taking, but still, i can't fail. I have been living here for about 6 years but i have learnt a dialect, not tagalog, the language Filipino is taught in. People always laugh when i answer wrong, but that isn't my problem. I don't know how i can get through this subject, and passing it.
HELP!
thanks
Well, I've been in America for about 4 years now and I'm afraid I'm losing my ability to speak both ilocano and tagalog. I try to speak it at home but then I forget to. D= I'd like to email with someone (I do have AIM but I always forget to go on even though I have to) and keep up with my language. Tagalog used to be my first language and ilocano (which I don't remember how I learned it) my second. Now English moved up to first. O.o
So if someone does speak ilocano or tagalog I would be more than happy to talk to you.

In other words, their relationship is cordial. Also, Japan has invested heavily in the Philippines and the Philippine government sent people to Japan to help during the tsunami emergency. Filipinos also travel to Japan to work. My question is how does the average Japanese see Filipinos? I've read conflicting stories about the issue.
id like to learn Tagalog because my parents didnt teach me when i was young. I am now a 16 year old pilipino american and i want to go to the philippines before going to college. if you can teach me tagalog, please let me know. i have a skype, facebook, and yahoo messenger.
To clarify, I am a white male, and have dated nothing but Asian women since I started pursuing girls in high school. If beauty in in the eye of the beholder, then my reason is this: I find the almond eyes, the facial features, and body types appealing. In Filipino women I find the darker skin very sexy. But my attraction is not superficially skin deep. I can speak Tagalog fluently as well as Japanese, and just because they might be Asian, thats not reason enough for me to jump on the first one I see. I value the cultural background & personality as most important. So if I'm attracted to features that just so happen to fall under the race category would It still be considered being racist? Curious on your thoughts.
i am trying to teach myself how to speak tagalog because my mom is filipino and she is always speaking it and i want to be able to talk back to her.
i know that in the filipino language some letters are pronounced diffrently then english. can you name some of the letters and how to pronounce them. and if you know of a website that tells you how to pronounce words in different languages that would really help too!!!

I'm not talking about filipino girls straight out of the philippines. i'm talking about the local girls if that makes any sense. What do you like/dislike about them?
Are Filipino languages dying? I thought it was always good to teach the native tongue. I'm starting to see this happen with the Latinos too.
What does this Filipino phrase mean: "kaluguran daka din sobra."
Thanks for any help.
he first lost his sight a long time ago because of a certain grave illness, so he can't see anything now. he can barely sense light. he also lost his hearing many years later, so he can't hear anything now, either. going ouside all alone is full of danger to him. he can talk because he retains his old memories when he could still see and hear. people can communicate with him by tapping their fingers on his arm, just like typing braille.
thank you for your help in advance!
Because Tagalog is my parent's language and I understand it, but can't speak well. I want to know if I should continue trying to be able to speak fluently, or if I should move on to Spanish or something.
I just wanna know if they do because my friend and I likes Asian girls and we'd like to go somewhere in Asia but we only speak English and very little Spanish.. Very little. By the way, we're white so do Filipinas or Asian girls in general like white boys? I seen that in The Philippines that Filipino and English were their main languages but I could actually go there only speaking English and be able to get through the country well, right?
I had to shorten my statement up there. I didnt know I was going to be able to add more detail. Ive tried links to sites that translate Filipino to english, but the sentences come out as gibberish and broken English at best. the Ilocano language is apparently specific to itself, and cannot be mixed with the more popular Tagalog that these translators must be using. Please help if you can, THX.
