Mabuhay!, Maayong adlaw kaninyo mga igsoon ko! I lived in the Philippines particularly in Davao. I'm a Filipino and I just want to know who are Filipinos in the Yahoo!Answer. And I also want to learn other languages. Can you teach me?

Can you help me by translating this song? It's by Suagrfree and it's called Makita Kang Muli aka the theme song of Panday. I know if I watched it I SHOULD know it but i got my family to translate.

Refrain: 1
Bawat sandali ng / aking buhay
Pagmamahal mo / ang aking taglay
San man mapadpad ng hanging
Hindi / magbabago aking pagtingin

Bridge:
Pangako natin /sa Maykapal
Na tayo lamang sa habang buhay /
Maghintay..

Chorus:
Ipaglalaban ko ang ating pagibig
Maghintay ka lamang ako’y darating
Pagkat sa isang taong mahal mo
Ng buong puso
Lahat ay gagawin
Makita kang muli, Makita kang muli,
Makita kang muli..

Refrain: 2
Puso’y nagdurusa, nangungulila
Iniisip ka pag nagiisa
Inaalala mga sandali
Nang tayo ay magkapiling
Ikaw ang gabay sa akin tuwina
Ang aking ilaw sa gabing mapanglaw
Tanging ikaw..

Chorus:
Ipaglalaban ko ang ating pagibig
Maghintay ka lamang ako’y darating
Pagkat sa isang taong mahal mo
Ng buong puso
Lahat ay gagawin
Makita kang muli, Makita kang muli,
Makita kang mul

tama na at mag-trabaho na tayong lahat

It's from a strange source, so it might be strange, then again maybe not.

Can someone please translate?

hi, the question is that im a teen who would like to learn filipino (tagalog or ilocano). my mom speaks it fluently but i would rather learn from a school or something. i live in the northern chicago area. does anyone have any recomendations? please, and thanks.

Dialect- Linguistics. a variety of a language that is distinguished from other varieties of the same language by features of phonology, grammar, and vocabulary, and by its use by a group of speakers who are set off from others geographically or socially.

Like English in the UK and in the US; or Spanish in Spain and in Argentina. They speak the same language but different dialect.

Now how could these be similar?

(good morning)

Tagalog: Magandang umaga
Ilocano: Naimbag nga bigatyo
Hiligaynon/Ilonggo: Maayong buntag
Kapampangan: Mayap ayabak

They clearly differ in phonology, grammar, and VOCABULARY. I think the Commission on the Filipino Language should have known better before declaring each indigenous "dialects" as dialects. It just makes most Filipinos unaware of what a dialect really is.

Do you agree?

Like, when saying "nagtaka", i feel like when i say the k in that word, my mouth feels empty

Don't say Rosetta stone, because not only is it expensive (to me) but I heard that it isn't good for learning languages. I also looked at Langocity, but found a lot of bad reviews on it. So what is the best Tagalog learning software?

Why do people think that Filipino is the language of the Filipinos????? Did you even bother to research???? I am a proud Filipino and I am getting bothered by your answers that say, Filipino is the language of the Filipinos... FYI, It's Tagalog. I am not getting mad I am just correcting.

I don't know why but I always get filipino and mexican guys that flirt with me. (I mean like filipino and mexican born/american immigrant) It's always so different that when I get hit on by other guys. I always get charmed and flattered by these guys. Only thing is that because I'm so used to getting rude/disrespectful comments and techniques from (blacks and well we'll say most americans in general. I'm black but its not only black guys that are rude) that I don't know how to respond to guys that are actually being respectful. I usually end up keeping my mouth shut and laughing a lot. I'm never quiet and if the constant laughing creeps me out, i know it has to creep the guys out. I never did like the nervous laughs. And the whole culture thing doesn't help. I don't know how to respond to a filipino my own age since the only time I've been around filipinos are the teachers at my school. I'm around mexicans/lations/hispanics all the time but that doesn't beat the mexicans who talk to me most of whom barely speak english with heavy accents at that. Oh yeah, can't study spanish until next year. P.S. I am in my late teens.............Help????

Im filipino but i don't know how to speak tagalog, can someone help.

Anyone Here Know What Site Can I Find Jose Rizal's Biography In Filipino Language???

I have actually never heard of any, to be honest; my knowledge has solely been inundated by Evgeny Kissin, Valentina Lisitsa, Yefim Bronfman, Horowitz, Ashkenazy, Barenboim (can someone give me the pronunciation of that too please?), Rachmaninoff, and the like.

What can you say about Filipino nurses? Please write all you can say like your observations for example. Thanks.

my boyfriend is filipino and im mexican and ive noticed that he is learnin spanish for me so i really want to learn tagalog for him i think it wouldbe cool but yea for starters cant oyu tell me how to say ''i miss you'' '' i want to be with you'' and ''you are my one and only'' i would really appreciate it and if anyone wants to learn spanish i can help you thanks!!!!!

Although I'm kinda trilingual if you exclude Tagalog, none of them is a Philippine language. Which is sad, because I live here in the Philippines.
I mean, which of them do you speak. I didn't mean to say list them down.
I know. But I like being specific, and multilingual doesn't specify how many I know.

At last, the Phillipines lack major natural resources or anything worth stealing. This explains their lack of trade with other countries, and the apathy other countries have towards it. As of today, no one cares.

As stated before, most countries rely heavily upon their economy in order to be prosperous. As the Phillipines currently have a crappy economy, they're screwed

can you translate that to filipino language??thanks

I would prefer those who speak tagalog fluently to answer this rather than the online translations. What would this translate to in english ? "Alam king hindi mo alam, narito lang ako."

Thank you !

Vietnamese Malay Tagalog &Maybe some other Asian countries?

I've heard of Villoria, Kalyespeak, etc. What you guys think?

I believe it will help me build my vocabulary.

any filipinos out there to help. please?

I really want to learn some basic words in Tagalog...I believe that is the main language spoke in Philippines..if not please correct me. Would anyone be willing to email/chat with me to give me some basic words in that language as well as what they are in english so I could learn them? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
example: how do you say:
how are you? hello? goodbye? have a nice day? just simple everyday things like that.
the reason I am interested in learning some is that my brother in law and father in law both married ladies from the Philippines (Cebu) and I would like to surprise them by learning some basics to greet them in their language. I thought it would be a nice gesture for them from me :)
thank you Michaella! my email is perfectsweetbeauty@yahoo.com if you want it....I wanted to do something for them, mainly my new mother in law because she will be here a year in March so this was her first Christmas away from her family and she was a little sad so I thought if I could say hello to her and things like that in her language it would make her feel better...oh and my sis in law will be here 2 years in April

I am a half filipina. My dad is from Pakistan and my mom is obviously from the Philippines. I know how to talk in Urdu ( language in Pakistan )a little, but not really Tagalog, only maybe hi's and how are you's.
So is there a thing that will make me faster to learn Tagalog besides... Rossetta Stone

Ive never even learned that (italian) language yet, but when I talk to my friends in Filipino, my friend (she speaks Italian) says that she could understand some of our sentences.

Thanks

well i just want to know how other people or ethnicities find my native language an interesting one?thanks!:)
